Custom Garden Design: Vego Garden

A Vego Garden for Any Yard Size

Ever heard of a Vego Garden? These modular raised garden beds are a great economical option and are easily customized to fit the space, size, and style of your garden. They are also great to grow into. If you want to start a garden on a budget, you can start with one bed and add more as you have the funds. And if you're new to gardening, one raised bed container is much less of a commitment than an in-ground garden!

The Vego garden we installed for Becky and Ryan is the perfect example of a kitchen garden for busy people that can easily fit in small yards.

Client: Becky & Ryan in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin

Custom Garden Design:

  • two gray Vego raised beds, elevated on pavers (36 sq. ft. total growing space

  • two custom-made cedar trellises, one for each Vego garden container

Garden Installation Process:

Two of these raised beds offered the perfect balance of adequate growing room without overtaking the whole backyard. To increase the available gardening space, we knew we wanted to add vertical growing options. The custom-designed trellises we installed provide extra growing space for climbing plants like cucumbers, tomatoes, and peas. To finish the installation, we added pavers in between the raised beds for easy access to the beds, which makes maintenance and harvesting a breeze.

Vego Garden Highlights:

While we have installed Vego gardens before, this one was extra special. Ryan gifted this garden as a surprise to Becky for their 10th wedding anniversary, a beautiful gesture toward their growth together.
